Could one of these men been the killer who had been beheading women? I felt that this wasn’t a great choice for a thriller, because a lot of tension was lost. Maggie is working on two cases that seem linked with each other Then Maggie gets a second lead—one that leaves her stunned.

Sick and twisted, the priest seems to have vanished without a trace. He seemed like a good detective that didn’t have a problem with getting help from the FBI.
While she is still working on that case, she is called to assist another one; ,ava priests have been attacked and murdered, seemingly at random. I enjoy books where the reader can follow the clues and work things out but become frustrated when the hints are too obvious and the killer predictable.
With the help of her friend, mentor and psychologists, Gwen Patterson and Detective Julia Racine, they begin searching for the connection between two different killers, which they believe is linked to a Internet computer game where young neccessary victims can kill the priests that abused FBI profiler, Maggie O’Dell is back in the 5th book of this series.
Alex Kava is the best author I have read in a long time. Please try again later. O’Dell was also working on some homicides in the Washington D. Besides, she is from Omaha, my home town. Well, I thought this book was so good that I went back to Book 1, and am proceeding through them all.
Very thrilling, despite the rather predictable nature of the plot. You will be surprised at the ending as I was. I also found some of the dialogue between the female characters very flat and a bit false. Kava divides her time between Omaha, Nebraska and Pensacola, Florida. Not to happy the way it ended to abruptly.
I keep hearing great things about Kava. Question P 7 9 May 23, Her books are extremely hard to put down so be warned you will lose sleep.
