The second book, Wings of the Wicked, was jammed with action sharows entertainment but it also focuses and polishes the romance off beautifully, which the sap in me still cheers for. No more Will, no more Ellie, no more The appeal of Angelfire and, really, the reason why this series gets such high marks in my book, can be summed up by the following simple analogy: There’s been one too many books I’ve read that have copped out a bit on the ending of a huge fight scene, but this war was well written!

Can Ellie bring herself to sacrifice not only her eternal life, but also her love in order to save the world from damnation? Together, they find a cure to save Will from his impending death. This part was both boring and very unsatisfying. So that Antares can heal Will… Who for some silly reason sshadows on shaddows door at the end of the previous book. It’s full of pain, agony, love, heartbreak, loss, and most of all, sacrifice. For five hundred years, he had devoted his entire life to the simple task alllson protecting and serving her – and loving her.

Great book, wraps up an awesome trilogy, and The Angelfire series is a great paranormal series you should not miss out. Shadows in the Silence: Want to Read saving…. I can’t even begin to explain how I feel about ending this story. Ohhhh, guys, the feels. I can’t imagine these two actually being with someone else. Did you hear me? So to end this review I’ll just say that if you want a series that’s stuffed with romance, heartbreak, action, suspense, characters that feel like real people, and exceptional writing, read this.

And Ellie must save herself.

This part was written very nicely. This book turned me into an emotional wreck, but those are the books that always end up being my favorites. But I think Courtney gave us a darn good ending. Angelfire is one of my favorite series trilogies, actually and to ib that Shadows in the Silence was the last book is pretty heartbreaking.


Will jst loves her and Ellie loves him too. In this book, Cadan became my favorite character. I don’t think it could have had a more perfect ending. Unfortunately, I was disappointed in that regard. This review is so, so very hard to write. I need time to clear my head and write a proper review.

Ellie for some reason thought she had a right to be pissed even though it was actually her fault that the girl’s friends were killed. However, the beginning This review is so, so very hard to write. Main character wise, I love how Ellie’s grown into a fierce character who can thrown down and kick the crap out of any demon, while at the same time she has this other side to her that’s reserved for those moments when she’s with Will, and those other moments when she’s sitting with her good friend Caden, and they’re dishing it to each other.

I love how we’ve grown to trust him more and more throughout these books. It’s not a graphic one by any means, but one that was written in a very tactful way.
