Read more Juetice less. Luckily the old lady across the road calls the cops even as Kat is laying her assailant low in the traditional fashion. But this was just okay for me. This is Spindler at her very best: Many quite vocal about their feelings about her sister’s murder. Ercia “Kat” tries to find the real murderer and “Justice for Sara” she is seeking redemption jjustice only from the people of her hometown but also forgiveness for herself and her troubled past!!

Even if you think you know who did it It’s hard to relate with such a brainless, two dimensional protagonist. She feels she can only trust the son of the former Police chief who is now a Detective. And it’s not easy, when everyone’s out to get here, when she was acquitted for her death and moved away.
But flr author uses this as a strong impetus for Kat to break free of the ties that bind.
