As she is leaning against frannk tree, eating her chicken basket, something strange occurs. But this scene turned me off so much, I would have immediately abandoned this book if I didn’t feel obligated to finish and review it.

Everything has changed and she finds herself sitting by the tree dressed only in a hospital gown. They’re also a world-renowned magical act of 40 years conveniently the duration of their marriage. Not only do I enjoy his books, but the man himself comes across as very humble, very likeable.
It hurt to sit in the wheelchair; it hurt more to walk.
Are Mandy’s inexplicable illusions more than simply illusions? If you like a good sci-fi book then you should check this one out. Mandy is adorably charming–you’ll love her right off the bat.

The main characters, Dane and Mandy, were clearly Christian. He could perrtti place the breath behind the words. Back in time, we encounter a nineteen year old Mandy, perethi the local state fair.
Illusion is a all love story, and it’s told in a beautiful, magical way pun totally intended! I loved this story, especially the discovery and explanation of what was going on.
Okay… moving on… Illusion is not your typical Peretti book, and for me that makes it even better. It is then she realizes she has unusual powers and is drawn back into the world of magic where she feels she has lived a life before.
I highly recommend this book to those tried and true fans of Peretti as well as to those that have never cracked open one of his books. Her efforts are to no avail. See full terms and conditions and this month’s choices.
More books from this author: Peretti does seem to have one problem that shows up in most of his books even the one I think peertti as a favorite. Actually the whole story with the time machine and everything was horrible. What matters are the two main characters and how they hope against hope Illusion is the first novel I ever wrote a review for after reading less than pages. Mar 03, Heidi rated it liked it. Frank Peretti has crafted a rich, rewarding story of love and life, loss and restoration, full of twists and mystery.
However, I did get something out of it, and that’s the belief that I can write better than this. In fact, after I had read the first 20 chapters and they were a little slow moving, I started to get scared that not only was this story not going to be typical Peretti, but would be a total departure from what he normally writes. Alone in a strange world, she uses her mysterious powers to eke out a living, performing magic on the streets and in a quaint coffee shop. But their love isn’t to last Disorientated and feeling lost and wearing only a hospital gown, she struggles with reality until she is picked up by concerned citizens at illusiion fair who turn her over to the police.
It happened more quickly than anyone expected. The sci-fi illysion was interesting and even a little thought-provoking, but in the end, it was not as deep as I was hoping for, and not all of the loopholes were closed to my satisfaction. In short, there’s a lot of filler.
Too much of this book perettti written like a screenplay instead of a novel. And like other Peretti fans, I have long awaited new material from him. And the random inclusions of cheesy faith were annoying from someone who usually handles faith so much more believably. The thousands of doves that carried Mandy to safety, her remembering her past, it was all so much!
Kessler that due to his post traumatic stress disorder after losing his wife, and being on strong pain medications and muscle relaxers, he should call her if he should find himself thinking he has seen his wife.
